Named after the historical palace Dar al Hajar, one of the most astonishing tourist sites located to the north west of the Capital Sana’a Yemen. Rock palace reserve has the highest elevation among meem collection, with an elevation of 2400-2450 masl. This coffee has showed great taste notes scoring as high as 89 points from the first year. The farm is located in the region of Bani Matar and grown by a group of 20 farmers producing a few hundred kilos of green beans every year. With hints of peach, pink grapefruit, and rose Bani Matar coffee is an absolute winner.
Bani Matar region is Yemen’s highest-altitude region. The region is southwest of Sanaa, and east of the Hayma and Haraaz coffee regions. The Bani Matar region which gives us the Matari coffee. To simplify Matari Mountain coffee to its most essential, we’d like to say that the region’s record breaking altitude gives the tastiest, most intense coffee. The coffee is unambiguously intense, but for ambiguous reasons. This factor is simpler, processing of coffee in Bani Matar is the same as elsewhere in Yemen. All Yemeni coffee is naturally processed or the whole coffee fruit is dried to make a cup of coffee full of inspiration.
